Google will soon notify its users if their contact information shows up in Search results so they can more easily flag content for removal.
The tech company announced Thursday that its “Results About You” dashboard will send out notifications every time new results appear.
Users can also use the tool to request that Google remove those pages from search results.
You can access the dashboard in Google’s app by clicking on your profile picture and selecting, “Results about you,” or by clicking goo.gle/resultsaboutyou in your browser.
The “Results About You” tool is one of several newly released safety features the tech giant unveiled recently. Google also released new tools to remove revenge porn and blur explicit images.
