After teasing the Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G for India last week, Samsung has just confirmed the launch of these two new budget phones and their prices. We already knew that the Galaxy A duo would be available in India starting January 18. However, the company has now spilled the beans on precise launch details, pricing for different memory options, and specifications.
Both the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will be available in India through Samsung’s online shop and partner stores from January 20. But the two phones will get a two-day head-start via Live Commerce on Samsung.com and hit the shelves on January 18 from 12 PM onward.
The Galaxy A14 5G will be available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for INR 16,499 ($202). The 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants will cost INR 18,999 ($232) and INR 20,999 ($257), respectively. Customers can benefit from INR 1,500 cashback with SBi, IDFC, and ZestMoney.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy A23 5G in two memory configurations: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB for INR 22,999 ($281) and INR 24,999 ($306), respectively. Buyers can get INR 2,000 cashback.
Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G quick specs
The Galaxy A14 5G sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP selfie sensor, the Exynos 1330 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. The Galaxy A14 5G will be available in three color options: Dark Red, Light Green, and Black.
Meanwhile, customers who are willing to pay a little extra for the Galaxy A23 5G get a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, the Snapdragon 695 chipset, and a similar 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. The Galaxy A23 5G will be available in Silver, Light Blue, and Orange.
Both phones should run Android 13 and One UI 5.0 from day one, and they take advantage of features like RAM Plus, which allows users to assign some storage as virtual RAM for better multitasking.
