Samsung is slated to have new Galaxy Buds to go with the S21 series of flagship smartphones during their early 2021 launch. To date, however, surprisingly few details about these putative accessories has leaked out. They are thought to have the model number SM-R190 (which might follow on from the Buds Live, or SM-R180s) a 472mAh case and 60mAh per earbud thus far, and that's about all.
Then again, a new certification reportedly obtained from Indonesia's telecomms regulator may reveal their product name for the first time. This may be the Galaxy Buds Pro, which is a little confusing as Samsung has also trademarked the moniker Galaxy Buds Beyond in the EU. Perhaps they will be sold under different names in different markets.
According to SamMobile, if they are to be the Pros, this may be due to the inclusion of active noise cancellation (ANC) - although the Buds Live also have this feature. No hints as to their shape (e.g. kidney-bean, popcorn or AirPod-clone) have been given as yet, although speculation is in favor as a return to the Buds/Buds+ form-factor.
